The role of Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator is to ensure that continuous improvement principles—often based on Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies—are embedded into the organizations operations. Acting as a bridge between leadership and operational teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and track progress. What will your responsibilities be? Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement across departments.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions.
- Lead or support Kaizen events and improvement workshops.
- Plan, execute, and monitor CI projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement changes.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Collect and analyze performance data (KPIs, metrics).
- Use tools like Pareto charts, control charts, and process mapping.
- Report on CI initiatives impact and ROI to stakeholders.
- Educate staff on CI tools and methodologies.
- Coach teams on Lean, Six Sigma, or other frameworks.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads and frontline employees.
- Communicate CI goals and progress effectively.
- Encourage employee involvement and feedback.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure best practices are documented and shared.
- Support audits and compliance efforts.
- Engineering degree
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Hands-on involvement in process improvement projects
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred)
- Familiarity with Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- 13th month
