Customer Service Agent Job DescriptionPosition Overview

Were seeking a professional, empathetic Customer Service Agent to join our remote team. This position will provide exceptional customer support via multiple communication channels while ensuring customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries through various channels (phone, email, chat, social media)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
  • Document customer interactions in our customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges according to company policies
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments
  • Maintain product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
  • Collect customer feedback and share insights with relevant teams
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance customer service skills
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including response time and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and verbal)
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Technical Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload)
  • Personal computer with updated operating system (Windows 10/11 or macOS 11+)
  • Headset with noise-cancelling microphone
  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace
  • Backup power solution recommended

Working Hours

  • Full-time position
  • Schedule may include evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on business needs
  • Shifts will be aligned with customer support coverage hours in assigned regions
