Customer Service Agent Job DescriptionPosition Overview
Were seeking a professional, empathetic Customer Service Agent to join our remote team. This position will provide exceptional customer support via multiple communication channels while ensuring customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries through various channels (phone, email, chat, social media)
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
- Document customer interactions in our customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges according to company policies
- Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments
- Maintain product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
- Collect customer feedback and share insights with relevant teams
- Participate in training sessions to enhance customer service skills
- Meet or exceed performance metrics including response time and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and verbal)
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly
- Experience with CRM systems preferred
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Technical Requirements
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload)
- Personal computer with updated operating system (Windows 10/11 or macOS 11+)
- Headset with noise-cancelling microphone
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Backup power solution recommended
Working Hours
- Full-time position
- Schedule may include evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on business needs
- Shifts will be aligned with customer support coverage hours in assigned regions
